Spring 2015 Fashion: Runway vs. Everyday
With Spring clothes coming into stores soon, it’s time to see what the upcoming season has up its sleeve for the hottest new trends. When you don’t live the life of a fashion model, us regular people take what we see from the runways and apply it to our own wardrobe. The pictures on the left are from this year’s fashion shows, and the pictures on the right give you an idea on how to wear these styles on a day-to-day basis.
What Colours To Wear:
Yellow
Yellow is going to be really big this year, which is great! Wearing a yellow dress or shirt makes your outfit look so vibrant and summery. This adorable dress on the left is by Chloe and the photo is taken from InStyle magazine.
Black and White Patterns
Not that we don’t already wear enough black and white, but now you can say it’s in style to wear no colour! The top and skirt are designed by Public School.
White Suit
Another outfit where we don’t have to wear colour! The full white suit can be rocked as a pant and top combo or just a dress. This picture was taken during Paris Fashion week.
What Styles To Follow:
Trench Coats
The trench coat is a great piece to pair with a simple outfit to make you look more put together. Photo was taken during New York Fashion Week.
Fringe
Fringe can be worn in many different styles – more popularly as a dress or as a jacket. The picture of the runway model is from InStyle Magazine.
Gingham
This new pattern is great for everyday wear. It’s used mostly for dresses and skirts. This photo was taken during New York Fashion Week.
