DIY Tea Cup Candles
These DIY candles are super easy to make and are a great idea for a gift. Follow these easy steps to make your own tea cup candle.
What you need:
Any tea cup or mug
A bag of candle wax (link at the bottom of the page)
A 2 piece double boiler pot
A wick
Candle scent (optional)
Steps:
1) Take your big pot, fill it with water and boil it
2) While the water is boiling, glue-gun the bottom of your wick to the bottom of your teacup
3) When the water is at a boil, pour the wax into the second pot and put the second pot inside the boiling water pot (to make a double boiler)
4) Stir the wax as it melts
5) Add your scent to the melting wax, and when the wax is completely melted, pour it into the teacup (hold up the wick so that it doesn’t fall over)
6) Let it cool – do not put it in the freezer
